Implement This: Stop Procrastinating with These Simple Tips

Feeling like you are consistently fighting the clock?

I was there!! … For years … I even labeled myself a procrastinator. 😖

But really, I wasn't actually... I just didn’t have systems set up to help me stay on track and consistently make traction.

So here are some habits I built:

  1. Set time limits: Parkinson’s Law states that work expands to the time you allot it. If you say you’re going to work 40 hours, your work will take you 40 hours. If you say you have 25 you’ll get the same amount done! - it’s the law -

  2. Build external accountability: I want people to rely on me because it helps me put things off. I have a Monday meeting with my VA because it helps me start my work week. I even do body doubling calls with peers because it keeps me on track. Deadlines are remarkably effective. External accountability adds another layer to that.

  3. Prioritize: (and I cannot say this loud enough) It’s imperative that you figure out what’s really moving the needle the most. If I sit down and don’t intentionally set aside time to identify the priority tasks, they fall to the end of the list. Know what is urgent and important.

What keeps you from procrastinating?

💥 Implement this and let me know how it goes!

Rooting for you, Summer
