Implement This: 4 ways to work less + make more

Last week, I went over the biggest key for making more and working less: Identify the Main Thing and be relentless in your prioritization and focus.

Once you master your focus and eliminate what is not in alignment with the Main Thing, here are the next ways to level up:

1️⃣ Automate: Leverage technology and automation tools to streamline your workflows. Implement systems that automate repetitive processes, such as email marketing, scheduling calls, sending invoices, social media scheduling, or customer support. This will save you time and allow you to focus on higher-level tasks. (Ps. My VA just recommended a tool called Make to me and it looks amazing).

2️⃣ Delegate: Identify non-core or time-consuming tasks that can be delegated or outsourced. Hiring virtual assistants, freelancers, or contractors (I recommend Upwork) can help you offload administrative or repetitive tasks, freeing up your time to focus on more important aspects of your business. If you need a refresher about how to hire a VA, here's my article on that! :)

3️⃣ Optimize (Your Work Environment): Create an environment conducive to focus and productivity. Minimize distractions, create time blocks, organize your workspace, and establish a routine that sets clear boundaries between work and personal life. I set my iPhone to automatically go into "Work" mode during certain hours and in certain locations, which blocks most of my notifications. Additional Tip: I also set up a "personal" focus mode when I walk through my front door so that I don't get work notifications at home.

4️⃣ Leverage (Your Systems and Processes): Identify the main things that are repeated in your business, then develop standardized systems and processes for them. Document procedures, create checklists, and establish clear guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency. This will make it easier to delegate tasks and maintain productivity even when you're not personally involved in every detail. Here's my article about how to create a process in 10 minutes.

My advice? Start small and then build on what works slowly so you don't jump into the deep end without learning how to swim.

💡 Why this is important: You did not quit a 9-5 to work a 9-9. It's so easy to be "busy" with the wrong things and your time is valuable. When you spend the majority of your time, money, and energy on the wrong things you become overwhelmed, stagnant, and burnt out, which is why it's so important to stay focused and intentional about how you spend your time.

Which one can you implement right now?

I'd love to hear how you're going to Implement This this week.

Here's to you getting Time Rich, Summer
