Ready to work a 25-hour work week while you 10x your business?
Here are a few principles you should know that create what I call an Efficiency Squeeze:
☝️ Parkinson’s Law: Work expands to the time you allot it.
✌️ The Pareto Principle (or 80/20 Rule): 80% of your results come from 20% of your effort.
👉 10x is Easier than 2x: This states that focusing on significant growth leads to faster progress and greater success than focusing solely on incremental improvements.
With these principles in mind, open yourself to the idea that if you decide to work 25 hours and focus on the 20% that moves the needle, you will fit the most important tasks into your scaled-down workweek and 10x your results.
Here are the steps:
1. Commit to working ONLY 25 hours a week (and track it)!
2. Identify the Main Thing - the 1 thing that moves the needle most in your business.
3. List and divide your tasks into Main Thing Tasks (that move the needle most) and Secondary Tasks (all the rest)
4. Time block your Main Thing Tasks into your 25-hour work week (hit reply to receive the template). After you put in your Main Thing Tasks, drop in your secondary tasks that are still important and urgent.
5. Eliminate, automate, and delegate the rest. If they don’t fit into your 25-hour workweek, don’t move the needle, and aren’t tasks only you can do - WHY ARE YOU DOING THEM?
This step is how you get Time Rich!
💥 Why It's Important: If you don't limit your time, you spend your time spinning your wheels. If you want to get Time Rich, you need to limit your time and create an Efficiency Squeeze.
Implement this and let me know how it goes, Summer
